Wall Slicks™ Material Manufacturer Certified “Green” Process

Ramona, CA - January 24,2009 - Modern Wall Graphics announces that the adhesive vinyl material that they use for all of their Wall Slicks™ products, has been certified a Green Product by Det Norske Veritas, for meeting certification standards for process and environmental impact. The raw vinyl, manufactured by Orafol Europe and its US subsidiary, Oracal USA, has the most green process of any vinyl manufacturer, and as a company are constantly looking for ways to improve their process, to reduce waste, pollution, and offset their environmental footprint. This is why they have received both EN ISO 9001:2000 and EN ISO 14001:2004 Management Systems Certifications in Development, Manufacturing and Distribution. The actual material used by Wall Slicks™ manufacturer, Modern Wall Graphics, also has “green” properties, verified by OSHA, including its water-based adhesive application and its no-odor or volatile chemical content.

Modern Wall Graphics Collaborates on Worthwhile Project, Benefiting Women and Girls

New York City - February 1, 2009 - Modern Wall Graphics, leading innovator/manufacturer of custom vinyl wall stickers, is proud to announce the donation of their innovative decor product, Wall Slicks™ to the worthwhile organization Step Up Women’s Network for their opening of a new office space in New York City, an organization dedicated to strengthening community resources for women and girls. The project was headed up by Extreme Home Makeover’s Constance Ramos, designer, who is also well known for her show Color Correction, on HGTV. Constance, who was a big fan of Wall Slicks™, recommended Modern Wall Graphics for the project, and the company, being a Woman-Owned Business, was happy to participate in the worthy cause. Constance needed more than 30 of Modern’s renowned Wall Packs, to create the look she was hoping for. The finished product turned out amazingly, and will definitely bring energy and liveliness to the office space. There will be a launch party to celebrate Step Up’s new space on February 25th , 2009 and will recognize all of the contributors to this special cause. Modern Wall Graphics donates wall decals for many projects every year, including a variety of non-profit organizations and hospital pediatric wings.
